Welcome

Welcome to my blog. In an effort to be less of an enigma in the coming months, I have created this most snazzy web-log of my current happenings, travels, haps and mishaps, meals, revelations, and cultural in/competencies. I will update it often (and that is a promise) with writings, semi-often with photos, and most likely not but perhaps with some videos as well...

A brief overview of the POA (aka. the Plan-of-Action, or Plan-of-Attack) for the next 5 months:
August: A visit from my dear Argentine friend Antonela, a trip to San Fransisco then up to Portland and Seattle. Home. A nebraskan wedding. Home. Finally, 8/31, departure to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
September-January: Argentina, Chile, potentially Easter Island with my Chilean host dad (who just so happens to be a world renowned Easter Island archeologist), Uruguay, and Columbia. Potential diversions to Peru and Ecuador.
January: Home, moving to Denver to begin nursing school at CU!

Now you don't have to pretend like you remembered all that anymore:)

Two other very important notes. ONE. I will still be sending and responding to personal emails [of course!!] so please do send them to me! It is the most wonderfully warm and fuzzy feeling to receive updates from all of you while I'm away and my biggest hesitation in creating a blog was that I would not receive responses... so don't make me regret it! I settled for bloggin because of the ease of blending in photos and of creating an archive all in one spot. TWO. A most fortunate incident involving my brother and snow has made me the very lucky owner of an ipod touch for the next 6 months. I mention this because, as some of you may know, skype is available for use on the ipod touch- meaning that I can phone call any of you any time I have access to wireless internet. Because of this, I will be setting up a skype voicemail account so that you can connect to skype, call me up, and if I'm not there on my ipod at the time, you can leave me a voice message. Basically, calling me/me calling you will be much easier and very accessable. Yay! If you don't have skype, it's free and easy as can be to set up. www.skype.com

That's all for now. Again, welcome and thank you for visiting!

Read and enjoy. Pass on if you so desire. Tune out if you tire.
